Our Customer is the world's leading music company that owns and operates a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries. They identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.
We are seeking an Associate Manager, Marketing and Accounting Administration on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is on-site in Miami Beach, FL.
This position is responsible for various aspects of financial planning and analysis for an entertainment company, assisting in the preparation of forecasts and actual results, performing project analyses, and other ad hoc analyses as required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end marketing project administration, including budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Partner with leadership to set up, track, and optimize project budgets for artists and campaigns
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams on budget reservations, fund transfers, vendor setup, requisitions, and PO approvals
- Track and manage marketing projects by artist, vendor, and expense category
- Monitor and reallocate budget resources across projects based on priorities and performance
- Develop and present budget analyses, including spend by vendor, project, and artist
- Manage project timelines and coordinate deliverables across Marketing, Finance, Legal, and external vendors
- Oversee vendor payment processes, including invoice tracking, approvals, and payment scheduling
- Coordinate vendor onboarding, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with internal systems
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, and approvals within financial systems
- Document and distribute meeting notes, and organize internal meetings and sessions
- Create and manage project documentation, including timelines, reports, and tracking sheets
- Support travel coordination and logistics for projects as needed
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and adjustments
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Support financial close processes, including variance tracking and budget reconciliation
- Assist with forecasting and annual budget planning
- Maintain and monitor forecasting systems and provide ad hoc financial analysis
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in project management, finance, accounting, or operations
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience managing budgets, financial tracking, and forecasting
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems such as SAP or similar tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and variances
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
