Job description
Our Customer is an American worldwise clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.
We are seeking an Associate Manager, Paid Social, on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote, preferably close to NYC or San Francisco.
The Associate Manager of Paid Social will be responsible for supporting Paid Social activation and performance for brands. Sitting within the broader Marketing Shared Services organization, this role is part of a new approach for the company and will leverage a deep understanding of innovative Paid Social strategies and best practices. You will be reporting into the Sr Manager of Paid Social, and you will work closely with the Channel Planning team and the media agency to drive efficiency and effectiveness in Paid Social investment.
Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal support role for Senior Managers, Paid Social in QAing asset launch, conducting technical health checks, and fine-tuning creative workflow processes.
- Partner closely with Senior Managers in managing full funnel paid social programs across Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Own Paid Social campaign tracking generation to ensure media results are captured in measurement models accordingly.
- Conduct daily analytics checks, ensuring consistent tracking, accuracy in messaging, and feed and pixel health.
- Partner with brand creative, organic social, and copy team to source assets for ad hoc tests and initiatives.
- Lead communication with cross-functional partners and channel planning related to downtracking instances.
- Providing ongoing direction to agency and platform partners on seasonal and commercial priorities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in planning and executing paid social campaigns and investments, preferably at a large retail organization or agency.
- Deep knowledge of Paid Social channels, technologies, best practices, and trends.
- Strong reporting and analytic skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in execution.
- Experience in a highly complex, matrixed organization with a proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive change.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines.
- Self-starter with an innate sense of curiosity, continuously improving ways of working, and eagerness to learn and collaborate.
- Strategy: Effectively execute strategy, consistently pursue business and marketing objectives, manage breakthrough media campaigns, adopt innovations and new practices, and surface cross-portfolio media best practices
- Planning: Support planning of media campaigns to advance company and brand-specific goals, optimize activities and expenses to ensure campaign results, prioritize key levers to achieving business objectives, and implement relevant processes to help COE and brand teams deliver results
- Leadership: Demonstrate ability to work independently, facilitate collaboration, identify opportunities for growth, be a consistent team player, take initiative, and proactively identify potential issues and recommend solutions
- Teamwork: Execute the directives of the company's mission, manage and work efficiently with various stakeholders, be solution- and service-oriented, and communicate effectively and directly
- Ownership: Demonstrate subject matter expertise, establish presence with team, demonstrate strong presentation and written communication skills, own mistakes and work quickly to find solutions, and showcase initiative
