We are seeking an Associate Manager on a contract basis to help support our client’s day to day business needs. This role is100% remote.

This role entails tapping into the social ecosystem through real-time social monitoring, listening, measurement, and research. The role will help them understand the larger conversations among beauty enthusiasts and what matters to the guests to inform strategy and business goals.

The Associate Manager, Social Listening & Measurement will leverage data and insights to show the impact and reach of social channels within the larger social landscape, as well as within the organization. This role will work collaboratively across multiple areas of the business to proactively share insights to help inform social strategy, business development, and larger company initiatives.

This role will help create and streamline internal social reporting to benchmark performance for the channel against core KPIs, milestones, and channel goals. In addition to measurement, this role will also help build the brand narratives that are backed by data and social listening insights.

The role requires strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of social media channels and the associated technology and best practices in the space. This individual has the ability to extrapolate insights and analyze social data to see the bigger picture and understand the impact on the business. This individual demonstrates eagerness to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities to enhance social strategy.


What You'll Do:

  • Real-time social monitoring
  • Constant connection to conversations happening on (and off) the social channels to be the first to escalate noteworthy conversations
  • Establish system/automation tools to aide in real-time conversation monitoring
  • Ability to check-in on weekends/nights to ensure escalation of noteworthy conversations
  • Listening
  • Perform community conversation audits across owned social media channels to identify key themes, audience sentiment, share of voice, customer interactions, trend opportunities and content creation ideas
  • Use social listening to provide market analysis across competitors, influencers and fan conversations in the beauty space
  • Develop reporting that tracks conversations and sentiment across various topics, categories, and platforms
  • Extrapolate insights and recommendations from social listening to help inform broader brand marketing strategy and direction
  • Support ongoing social listening requests from various teams within the business (e.g. product development, partner marketing, sales)
  • Through listening, daily interaction with the community and brand immersion, work closely with Community Specialist to help refine a community engagement strategy that goes beyond customer service and in to authentic conversation
  • Measurement
  • Develop benchmark reporting and best practices for tracking primary KPIs that are regularly reviewed
  • Help the team communicate back to the business the results/impact by leading on all Brand social marketing reporting, measurement and evaluation
  • Partner with the Guest Services team to understand omni-channel consumer sentiment and reactions and ways to tie back to social data
  • Pull and analyze campaign conversation reports leveraging current social media tools (Sprinklr, Unmetric, Rival IQ, Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest/YouTube insights)
  • Partner with agency teams to dive deeper into multi-channel campaign recaps to glean actionable insights and share learnings with internal teams
  • Partner with agency teams and act as an input into trend/behavior reporting
  • Research
  • Collaborate with the Consumer Insights team on development of internal surveys, audience segmentation and other cross-platform audience research initiatives
  • Maintain technology partnerships and consistently evaluate vendor landscape to ensure best in class partners for social listening and research
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree (marketing specialization preferred)
    • 5-6 years of social listening/analytics experience
    • Understanding how to extrapolate insights and illustrate the greater business impact
    • Experience with data analysis and reporting working in a marketing department or agency setting; proven strong analytical and detail-oriented skills required
    • Experience mapping social listening data to industry trends
    • Strong understanding of the consumer decision journey and marketing funnel
    • Passion for beauty with deep knowledge of the industry landscape, current trends/innovations and emerging technologies
    • Social media listening platform power user; experience with Sprinklr (publishing and listening) a plus
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, while being an accountable member of a fast-paced team
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
