We are seeking an Associate, Merchant Campaign Operations on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is remote (preferred near hubs: New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Sunnyvale, Chicago, Austin, Denver, Atlanta, Miami, Boston, Washington, DC).
The Associate, Merchant Campaign Operations is responsible for building, testing, and launching retention marketing campaigns across multiple channels. This role ensures campaign quality, operational efficiency, and timely delivery, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on goals, audience segmentation, and creative execution. The Associate serves as the main point of contact for campaign operations support for Lifecycle Marketing partners.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Build, launch, and optimize retention marketing campaigns across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other channels using marketing automation tools.
- Manage the QA review process, collaborating with designers and copywriters.
- Build target audience segments and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
Operational Efficiency
- Develop scalable workflows, processes, and best practices to minimize errors and ensure high-quality campaign delivery.
- Monitor campaign delivery rate and ensure operational consistency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Lifecycle Marketing, Martech, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Design teams to align on campaign goals and execution.
Performance Analysis
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign quality, craft, and efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for campaign operations for Lifecycle Marketing partners.
- Ensure campaign goals align with broader organizational priorities.
Tool Expertise
- Leverage Iterable and other marketing platforms to implement sophisticated campaigns.
- Utilize automation, dynamic content, and A/B testing for optimization.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in B2B retention marketing, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing.
- Hands-on experience with Iterable preferred; familiarity with ESP or marketing automation tools required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and use insights to optimize campaign development and quality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
