Our Customer is seeking an Associate Producer on a contract basis to perform deep analyses on client campaigns. This role is on-site in Santa Monica, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Identify timely, trending, and culturally relevant public content.
- Collaborate with Trend Curators and Producers to surface fresh, exciting, and informative content.
- Identify daily trends, tentpole moments, and culturally relevant topics relevant to the community.
- React quickly to unexpected emerging moments during shifts.
- Identify and work with emerging content creators.
- Surface timely and trending publicly submitted content.
- Search through large volumes of content to identify trends, timely conversations, and culturally relevant themes.
- Review and moderate submitted content in real time.
- Partner with Engineering, Moderation, and Product teams to communicate and resolve issues during shifts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree in a relevant field.
- 1+ years of experience in digital media, social media, or content-driven environments.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. short-form video trends.
- Strong knowledge of major pop culture moments and tentpole events.
- Deep understanding of Gen Alpha, Gen Z, and Millennial audiences.
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong editorial judgment and understanding of engaging content.
- Up-to-date knowledge of pop culture, trends, and current events.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive, highly motivated, and adaptable work style.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar content curation environment.
- Experience navigating multiple social platforms.
- Demonstrated interest in short-form content.
- Availability to work nights and weekends.
