Job description

Our Customer is an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee. The financial security company provides consultation on wealth and asset income protection, education planning, retirement planning, investment advisory services, financial planning trust and private client services, estate planning and business planning. Its products include life insurance, permanent life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance; annuities; investments; and investment advisory products and services.


Our customer is looking for a Customer Service Representative on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Milwaukee, WI.


This role will require a process-oriented individual with strong communication and collaboration skills, along with process and system understanding.



Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of the Intake to Pay (I2P) process and related systems, including how I2P integrates with other stakeholder processes across the organization.
  • Document data mapping across systems that support the I2P process.
  • Generate reports to support governance and improve data quality for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Understand how system configuration supports and enables business processes.
  • Support ongoing innovation and process improvements to increase efficiency in supplier-related workflows.
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional groups such as Legal and Risk Assurance to establish efficiencies in the process.
  • Participate in defining and refining system configurations that enable the business process.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and develop automation solutions to address them.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis of complex business processes and requirements.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, MITM, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in process design, procedure development, or system configuration.
  • Strong understanding of business needs with the ability to build and maintain customer trust and confidence.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and effectively prioritize concurrent assignments.
  • Strong analytical abilities with sound judgment in decision-making with limited information.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency with information systems and applications.
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
  • High level of personal initiative, motivation, and ownership.


Preferred:

  • Experience with category management processes.
  • Experience with data mapping.
