Job description

Our customer is a large United States insurance company that is backed by more than 100 years of experience and provides insurance products and services for businesses and professionals in the United States., Canada and Europe. Headquartered in Chicago, IL, they have more than 20 US locations.


Our Customer is seeking a contract Atlassian Agile Admin to support their ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote - Eastern or Central time zones preferred.



Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, administer, maintain, and enhance Jira Core, Jira Software, Confluence, and related integrations
  • Support and optimize the enterprise Atlassian ecosystem, including third-party add-ons
  • Serve as the solution architect for Agile tooling by defining technical vision and future capabilities
  • Organize and maintain data within Jira and Confluence
  • Develop and maintain team- and program-level Agile metrics and reporting
  • Configure and customize workflows, fields, screens, dashboards, reports, permission schemes, notification schemes, and screen schemes
  • Provide best practice recommendations for Agile tooling configuration and governance
  • Install, configure, and support Atlassian add-ons to extend platform capabilities
  • Deliver user training on Jira and Confluence administration, usage, and best practices
  • Provide ongoing administrator and end-user support for Atlassian tools
  • Develop onboarding materials and training for new Atlassian users
  • Create enterprise reporting and dashboards using EazyBI or Tableau
  • Coach teams on Agile tooling and support adoption of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices
  • Partner with Agile teams to improve ways of working and Agile tool utilization
  • Support additional Agile tooling initiatives and assignments as needed


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience administering and configuring Atlassian products, including Jira Core, Jira Software, Confluence, and third-party add-ons
  • Experience configuring workflows, custom fields, dashboards, reports, permission schemes, notification schemes, and screen schemes
  • Experience supporting Atlassian integrations and enterprise Agile tooling environments
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using EazyBI or Tableau
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Scrum Master (SM) certification
  • Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification
