Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a law firm focused on business, entertainment, employment and dispute resolution, representing entrepreneurs, stake-holders and creative professionals, in their search for entrepreneurial attorneys with strong client relationships and a demonstrated ability to grow a practice.
This can be a part time or full time position, hours are flexible!
Law Partner
Our primary focus is on Corporate, Litigation, Employment, Entertainment, Sports, Media, Technology, Bankruptcy, Franchising, and Intellectual Property, but we are also interested in attorneys practicing in other growth-oriented areas that support business clients.
We are open to candidates regardless of geographic location. The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in their field, a portable book of business of at least $500,000, and a desire to join a collaborative, entrepreneurial firm focused on long-term growth.
YOU ARE:
- An attorney with over 10 years of experience.
- Licensed to practice in New York, California, Florida, Texas or elsewhere in the U.S. or Canada, with a portable book of business of $500,000 or more.
- A natural leader with significant experience advising clients and serving as a trusted strategic business partner.
- Practical, prepared and resourceful with excellent people skills.
- An efficient and effective plain-English communicator.
- Conscientious, thorough and highly accountable.
- Motivated to learn and improve. Receptive to constructive feedback.
- Polished, poised, energetic with a strong work ethic.
- Always responsive and often proactive, keeping your clients (and team) well-informed.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:
- Report to the Managing Partner.
- Supervise lawyers, paralegals, law clerks, and externs on your team.
- Lead by example: with your work ethic, constructive feedback, and positive attitude.
- Have significant client contact.
- Be involved in client development and the growth of the firm.
- Continue to develop your own book of business and help drive the continued growth of the firm.
