Job description

Our customer is a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. They help researchers make new discoveries, doctors and nurses improve the lives of patients, and lawyers develop winning strategies. They prevent online fraud and money laundering and help insurance companies evaluate and predict risk. Their events combine in-person and digital experiences to help customers learn about markets, source products and complete transactions. In short, they enable customers to make better decisions, get better results and be more productive.


We are seeking a contract Life Sciences & FDA Regulatory and Compliance Attorney to develop “how-to”-type practical guidance for topics of interest to attorneys advising FDA-regulated companies, including pharmaceutical, medical device, food, dietary supplement, and cosmetics companies about product approval, agency enforcement, and compliance issues. Experience representing clients before the FDA or working for the FDA is also highly valued. This role is 100% remote.


Part-time, up to 20 hours weekly



Responsibilities:

  • Draft and/or edit practice notes, checklists, forms, and other practical guidance materials.


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Law degree from an accredited law school
  • Member, in good standing, of any U.S. State Bar
  • 2 years of experience as an attorney representing FDA-regulated companies in compliance, enforcement, and transactional matters, OR experience working at the FDA
  • Legal content writing experience, such as with bar association magazines or journals, law firm client alerts or newsletters, or other substantive legal publications
  • Excellent editing and writing skills
  • Excellent legal research skills
  • Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines
  • Ability to accept feedback on writing and revise accordingly
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Word and Excel
