Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking an Audio/Visual and Event Management Support Technician on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is onsite in Peachtree Corners, GA


This role is the first line of escalation for any issues or questions regarding audio-visual operational support and events/meeting support. The role provides technical assistance to internal and external clients of AV, IT, Networking, Unified Communications, and Telepresence equipment and systems located within the corporate environment and event locations. This position provides operational support to customers within the corporation. They are responsible for documenting and improving Tier I processes and training, and ensuring compliance with those processes. Additional responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day Meeting and Event support, as well as AV functions.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT, A/V, and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) support for local and remote meetings and events.

  • Deliver a white-glove experience for corporate events and meetings.
  • Manage calendar assignments for meeting support, including coordination of testing and maintenance with other A/V technicians.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with A/V and VTC technology across multiple sites.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful use of technology.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to Tier I support personnel, addressing escalations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge resources, including identifying, writing, approving, and publishing knowledge base articles.
  • Disseminate new information, policies, and procedures to the team.
  • Revise Tier I procedures as needed and support their execution.
  • Work with vendors and internal partners to produce and disseminate new processes and tools.
  • Attend strategic forums and planning meetings, communicating updates across partners and remote teams.
  • Support local IT service desks with user issues related to meetings and events.
  • Coordinate with vendors for A/V infrastructure projects, construction, and system installations.
  • Maintain tickets within SLA, providing regular updates and follow-ups.
  • Assemble reports and documentation for customer and vendor interactions.
  • Participate in Enterprise A/V projects, providing support to the broader team as needed.
  • Work independently or with larger teams to resolve technical issues related to A/V and IT systems, including VTC hardware, projection systems, display systems, video wall displays, assistive listening systems, remote monitoring, and unified communications.


Qualifications

  • Experience supporting A/V, VTC, and IT systems in corporate or enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of A/V infrastructure, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to create, manage, and publish knowledgebase articles and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proven leadership in guiding Tier I support teams and fostering knowledge sharing.
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms and A/V technologies such as Zoom, control systems, and VTC equipment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to deliver high-quality experiences.
