We are seeking an AR/VR Creative Project Manager – Entry–Mid Level on a contract basis to oversee the end-to-end production workflow for various Branded Lens development, ensuring smooth coordination between Production and Creative Producers teams. This individual would work closely with stakeholders on small to medium-sized projects. When identifying the goals and creative direction of the project, the AR Project Manager would use established templates and frameworks to kick off the production process and communicate the directions to the production team assigned to the project. This role is hybrid (4 days onsite and 1 day remote/week) in Santa Monica, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Lens production management: Build project timelines, manage stakeholders' communication and questions throughout the development process, and proactively manage any potential challenges during lens development.
  • Cross-Time Zone Coordination: Oversee the transition of crucial production information from US-based teams to EU-based teams.
  • Decision-Making Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for the AR production team, providing guidance on the lens creative and technical decisions.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with AR Project managers, Creative Producers, Creative Strategists, Sales, and cross-functional teams to maintain timely deliverables, transparency, and quality standards.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Creative or project management background up to 2 years
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with tools like JIRA and task management.
  • Experience in advertising, gaming, or creative production is a plus
  • Experience in Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in overseeing workflows and managing high-volume workloads.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks, projects, and shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.


Preferred:

  • Creative background (design, animation, 3D, etc.)
  • Familiarity with production pipelines
  • Experience working in agency or in-house environments (no strong preference)
  • Comfort with chaotic, deadline-driven environments
