Job description

Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.


We are seeking an AVP Account Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.


The Account Manager is responsible for both managing & cultivating strong partnerships with key strategic clients/businesses, delivering against client campaign business goals, delivering complex campaigns across multiple marketing execution channels and supporting the continual evolution and integration of holistic planning and delivery for the business.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels including direct mail, email, paid media, earned media, and marketplace
  • Drive campaign optimization and efficiency aligned with key business objectives and strategic initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (“switchboard”) for campaign coordination, ensuring seamless communication across teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing strategic guidance and thought leadership
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to align on campaign strategy, execution plans, and performance outcomes
  • Track campaign milestones, manage change requests, and ensure timely delivery of all campaign components
  • Establish and lead campaign portfolio reviews to monitor progress, identify risks, and optimize performance
  • Partner with internal teams to forecast capacity, prioritize campaigns, and balance workload effectively
  • Manage campaign-related incidents and coordinate corrective actions with compliance and subject matter experts
  • Support Agile processes and may serve as Scrum Master for campaign execution initiatives
  • Drive process improvements across marketing channels to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analyze performance insights and connect data points to inform decision-making and future strategies
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to support successful campaign delivery


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (or high school diploma/GED with 5+ years relevant experience)
  • 4+ years of marketing experience with strong project management focus
  • Hands-on experience with Workfront platform for campaign execution
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong client relationship management experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to act as a central coordinator across multiple teams and workflows
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to synthesize information, anticipate impacts, and drive solutions
  • Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed environments
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with omnichannel campaign execution and paid media (search, social, display, programmatic, affiliate)
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as LiveRamp, tagging, and trafficking processes
  • Experience leading process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Adaptability and curiosity with a mindset for continuous improvement
