Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.
We are seeking a AVP Paid Social Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Role Overview:
- The organization is continuing to build a world class Performance Media Organization committed to driving results with our retail and strategic partners, while also delivering leading customer experiences.
- Within this organization, our Paid Media Team is focused on achieving growth by making data-driven decisions to create meaningful interactions with existing and potential customers.
- We are seeking an AVP, Paid Social Manager to lead efforts in driving successful digital campaigns, supporting our Health and Wellness portfolio across the Synchrony enterprise.
- This role will execute and optimize efficient paid social campaigns including work within Meta, Pinterest, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
- This position is currently remote, but may occasionally commute to one our offices for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Paid Social campaign planning, development, execution, optimization and forecast in collaboration with Paid Social Analysts.
- Monitor campaign performance daily and optimize based on KPIs.
- Directly work with business teams on initial campaign planning, as well as weekly and quarterly performance reviews, serving as the campaign leader.
- Develop on-going testing plan and identify growth opportunity to expand innovation, new platforms and tactics and drive increased acquisition volume.
- Identify opportunity for automation leveraging internal/external tools such as Sprinklr.
- Collaborate with analytics on measurement, tagging and reporting.
- Collaborate with other channel leads (programmatic, SEM, SEO, etc.) on cross channel integration and strategy.
- Manage external partner relationships, identify new channels and innovative opportunities.
- Provide oversight and coaching to Paid Social Analyst as needed.
- Present Paid Social capabilities, case studies, learnings and strategic POVs to client teams and internal Performance Marketing teams.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Paid Social Execution.
- Client Service and Business Team Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 7+ years Marketing experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns – actively working within buying tools at an agency and/or in-house media team
- Must have executed campaigns within several paid social tools, including Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, etc
- 2+ years of experience leading large social media brands and mentoring/managing junior team members
Desired Characteristics:
- Understanding of all areas of campaign building, pacing, optimizing, and reporting and starting to identify and understand a specific area of interest.
- Experience working on both B2C and B2B campaigns; working in financial, health or retail categories a plus
- Solid understanding of the technical build of a paid social campaign (bidding structure, tagging, trafficking, custom events, audience management etc.)
- Excellent team building and collaborative skills; flexibility to pivot with strategy, regulatory and market evolution alongside cross channel teams to create holistic advertiser solutions
- Creative and resourceful; proven ability to problem solve and look for new ideas
- Detail oriented and organized with the ability to juggle competing demands and effectively prioritize tasks
- Advanced skills in Excel and PPT are essential as well as strong business writing skills
- Comfortable presenting to senior client team stakeholders
- Strong aptitude for numerical detail and analytical thinking
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.
- Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.
- Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post.
- All internal employees must have at least a “consistently meets expectations” performance rating and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance requirement).
