Job description

We are looking for a sales representative to manage wholesale sales in Florida. We are a new line of high end sun protective clothing. We sell luxe sun shirts to premium wholesale clients, primarily hotels & resorts, country clubs, golf & tennis shops and surf shops.

The sales rep will be responsible for generating leads, demonstrating & selling products, negotiating client orders, nurturing client relationships, attending trade shows and visiting clients on & off site.

Our ideal candidate is great with people, can think on her feet, is comfortable with a cold call or visit, understands the sales process and is eager to hit the road to visit with current & potential clients.

Core responsibilities

  • "Own" the Florida territory - country clubs, resorts, hotels, golf & tennis shops
  • Generate new accounts through cold calls, email outreach & attending trade shows
  • Attend trade shows
  • Nurture existing client accounts with onsite visits, regular outreach, client communication
  • Network with local reps to identify new sales opportunities (associations, trade shows, etc)
  • Attend weekly internal sales meetings
  • Achieve monthly quotas of sourced opportunities, and provide regular reports on achievements

Qualifications/Skills

  • Proven 4+ experience in sales, lead generation, preferably B2B
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual
