We are seeking a Background Screening Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Monitor progress of screening process, addresses any issue that may be causing a delay and communicates with internal partners and external candidates
  • Perform scheduled audits using multiple data sources, reporting results to stakeholders
  • Adjudicate pre-hire employment background checks
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing, review, analysis, and consideration of background check results
  • Assess results of background checks and risks as related to the position for which an individual is being considered and consults with Talent Acquisition manager to determine appropriate outcomes
  • Follow up with vendor for service requests, and to provide or gather additional information
  • Work closely with recruiting coordinators on background check process and specific issues



Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 1-3 years’ experience in human resources with emphasis on staffing preferred
  • Experience in HR, background screening, law, compliance, and /or document management preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to use good judgment and tact in dealing with confidential issues with complete discretion
  • Excellent ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Comfortable interacting with various levels of customers and managing expectations
  • Experience in Google Office Products (e.g., Doc, Sheets)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Excel, Word)
  • Ability to maintain consistency of high quality work in ongoing reporting and support deliverance
