We are seeking a Bank Loan Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (4 days on-site and 1 day remote/week) in Downer's Grove, IL, or Houston, TX.



Responsibilities:

  • Produce scheduled reporting deliverables for internal stakeholders, including Investment, Reporting, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  • Support traders by ensuring trading activity is accurately and efficiently entered in a timely manner.
  • Assist with trade closing activities and settlement coordination.
  • Liaise with traders, trade counterparties, and agent banks to facilitate settlement efforts.
  • Support the maintenance of data quality and integrity for critical business information.
  • Perform data mining from internal and external sources.
  • Analyze data and provide reporting support for Bank Loan clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service to internal and external clients and service providers.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings in a meaningful manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with bonds and bond settlements.
  • Understanding of the syndicated loan market (LMA) and fund operations.
  • Experience in a reporting or product oversight role.
  • Experience within the investment management industry.
  • Working knowledge of Allvue Everest.
