We are seeking a L&D Development Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Client’s business needs. This role will operationalize learning training programs that will allow our Client to grow and scale their Learning Community. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility and trust within all levels of the organization. They will exhibit great communication and planning skills, strong global cross-functional partner relationship-building skills, and an upbeat attitude. This person will be highly organized, productive, poised, and able to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with vendor teams to execute day-to-day operations
  • Interface with your operations partner, key client partners, and vendor teams to deliver operational programs
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and make programs consistent globally, while balancing the business need for flexibility
  • Manage end-to-end operational projects, from project initiation to project close, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines to support implementation and optimization of learning products
  • Manage both short and long-term project initiatives which can include but are not limited to LMS migration, process change requests, and process documentation
  • Define clear project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, success metrics, and associated timelines
  • Design and develop process workflows
  • Establish standardized program reporting to deliver insights to our Client's Operations Partner and Learning Program Managers
  • Manage and consult on operational impacts of new programs or changes to existing programs
  • Escalate risks and issues and collaborate with the Ops partner on the resolution
  • Make recommendations and create proposals on potential operational improvements, as well as day-to-day decisions
  • Develop and ensure standard operating procedures are in place for programs supported by the team globally
  • Work closely with remote staff effectively and drive consistency of global processes
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate actions

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in either L&D or HR Operations
  • Experience in L&D Program Operations is a plus
  • Experience with Cornerstone
  • Project Management (PMP / PMI) certification is a plus
  • Salesforce, Workday, and LMS experience are a plus
  • Project management, process improvement, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience working with confidential information
  • Customer service, communications, and group collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
  • Experience overseeing vendor tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day work
  • Ability to work across various levels of the organization, while building trust and fostering collaboration
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects are essential
  • Experience with GSuite, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Excel experience creating macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, analytical experience, and workbooks
  • Experience working with cross-functional internal teams and vendor teams
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently, with minimal supervision
  • Data analysis acumen is a plus
  • Experience managing an outsourced vendor relationship is a plus

Education:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
