We are seeking a Benefits Coordinator on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.

The Benefits Coordinator supports the team in administering the company’s benefits programs, including healthcare, voluntary benefits, time off and leave of absence, perks, and family benefits. This role will collaborate, share knowledge, and learn from other team members, identify process improvements, problem solve, and support the delivery of a best-in-class benefit offering to the employees and families in an extremely fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all employees and their dependents through Tier 2 and Tier 3 employee support requests.
  • Administer, approve, and resolve issues related to Qualifying Life Events, New Hire Enrollments, Terminations, and Open Enrollment Elections through the Workday HRIS system.
  • Support billing processes.
  • Resolve administrative errors with carriers.
  • Support the annual Benefits Open Enrollment process and implementations.
  • Respond to inquiries from Long Term Disability, Life, and other vendors as needed.
  • Run audits to ensure the accuracy of employee benefit enrollment.
  • Identify and recommend efficiency improvements in your day-to-day work or with the benefits program overall.

Qualifications:
  • Prior HR assistant or benefits administrative experience
  • Strong customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Google Suite applications preferred
  • Possess some sort of HRIS system knowledge (Workday HRIS platform preferred(
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Highly organized, professional, reliable, empathetic, and a great communicator focused on confidentiality throughout.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical in your approach, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, and strong collaborator. You'll enjoy building solid working relationships with peers, cross functional teams, and vendor partners.
