Job description

Job Title: Billing Clerk

  • Location: Garden Grove, CA
  • Job Type: Temporary 3-4 months
  • Work hour: 7:30AM to 4:30PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our team immediately. The Billing Clerk will be responsible for generating and processing invoices, credit memos, and ensuring the accuracy of billing records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to maintain clear and professional communication with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Generate and issue invoices to clients based on services or products provided.
  2. Verify accuracy of billing information, including charges and discounts.
  3. Maintain and update customer records with billing.
  4. Follow up on billing inquiries and communicate with clients and the sales department as needed.
  5. Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  6. Assist with other accounting or administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
  2. Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related field preferred.
  3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.).
  5. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  8. Basic understanding of accounting principles.
