Our Customer is a leading global, diversified information, services and media company with more than 360 businesses. Its major interests include various financial services, medical information and services businesses, and lastly, ownership in cable television networks such as A&E, HISTORY, Lifetime and ESPN; 33 television stations; 24 daily and 52 weekly newspapers; digital services businesses; and nearly 250 magazines around the world.
Our Customer is seeking a Billing Coordinator on a contract basis to help support their business needs. This role is on-site in Charlotte, NC.
This role will support daily AP operations, including invoice handling, payment processing, and system navigation across multiple platforms. This role requires strong technical proficiency, independence, critical thinking, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accounts payable tasks, including payment processing and invoice handling.
- Navigate and utilize Oracle for AP functions and financial workflows.
- Work across multiple systems and applications to support daily processing needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to AP policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve issues or discrepancies.
- Manage workload independently with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in accounts payable or payment processing.
- Familiarity with Oracle financial systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, and Excel.
- Proficiency with Adobe for document handling.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal handholding.
- Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
