Job description

We are seeking a part time bookkeeper to come in one day a week and help with the following:

  • Reconciling
  • Tracking income and expenses, similar tasks
  • Familiarity with Xero online bookkeeping a must.
  • We are a small team of friendly women (most of us mothers) and we would love to find someone who shares our passion for supporting women entrepreneurs.
  • Note we are for profit and have a nonprofit arm, so some familiarity with nonprofit accounting would be helpful.

The position is hybrid in that you would come in once per week for a few weeks until you could operate without coming in, and then it could move to fully remote.

*Prefer someone in Manhattan/Queens/Brooklyn to avoid commuting issues.
