Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with a design studio looking for a Finance Manager!

OVERVIEW

They are seeking a finance contractor to run the small branding agency’s day-to-day financials, including A/R and A/P, reconciliations and reporting. This position is remote, and part-time.

ROLE + RESPONSIBILITES

The contractor will work directly with our founders and occasionally our external accountant to post and pay invoices, record income and expenses and other standard financial records to our financial management software.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in managing creative agency (or similar services) finances
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks (PC, desktop via remote access)
  • Ability to create and update simple financial reports and projections
  • Outstanding professional acumen, communication and courtesy
  • Independent contractors only—no agencies
  • Available for Eastern-US time zone working hours
  • Excellent references to ensure trustworthiness and fiduciary responsibility

HOURS + COMPENSATION

Work is anticipated to require approximately 5 hours per week, with a compensation of approximately $40/hr. This is an independent contractor position.

ABOUT THEM

this is a strategic design house specializing in market readiness. Many early-stage and well-established brands, products, and ideas fail to reach adoption, because no matter how innovative the offering, strategy is often lacking, and execution is misaligned with intended markets and audiences.

By combining expertise, innovation, and insight, we identify real opportunities in areas that are primed for success. They design systems and realize brands, messaging, and products into market-ready states.

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.
