Job description

Bookkeeper/Office Manager

We have an immediate opening for a bookkeeper/office manager. This is a hybrid position (some office hours some at home hours). Lots of schedule flexibility. 24-32 hours per week. Insurance benefits. $30 to $40 per hour.

ABOUT US – We are a rapidly growing audiovisual projector screen manufacturer and distributor. We’re a small, friendly company with growth opportunities.

WHAT YOU DO

  • Full charge accounting for the main company and two small subsidiaries.
  • Accounts receivable
  • Accounts payable
  • Payroll
  • Billing
  • Cash application
  • Maintaining tax compliance through payroll management
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Monitoring and managing cash flow
  • Maintain sales tax compliance
  • Prepare budgets
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Basic HR
  • Benefits administration
  • General office management
  • Occasional special projects for company owner

ABOUT YOU

  • 5 to 10 years experience with full charge bookkeeping
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Quick Books (all modules)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with basic office administration including HR duties and benefits
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great attention to detail
