Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a commercial real estate services firm, which has been providing asset management, loan servicing, due diligence and customized advisory solutions to commercial real estate lenders and investors for over 30 years.

They are seeking a Borrower Reporting Compliance Analyst to join an accomplished, dynamic group of real estate and customer service professionals in providing loan document borrower reporting requirement compliance tracking services to the Asset Management Team within multiple internal and external systems.

Responsibilities: The Compliance Analyst will join an accomplished, dynamic group of real estate and customer service professionals in providing loan document compliance tracking services to the Asset Management Team.

  • Review loan documents for compliance items, typically documents required to be delivered by the borrower or guarantor to the lender
  • Utilize company's Compliance Tracking system to load in the requirements to create a system “expectation” for those documents
  • Receive, review, upload into the system and satisfy document compliance items
  • Prepare reports for the Asset Manager to review prior to the reporting due dates for the client
  • Assist the Asset Manager in the collection of the compliance documents
  • Prepare and send reminder notices to borrower of loan document obligations
  • Send any documents received to appropriate third parties when required under company's scope
  • Assist Asset Manager in tracking loan covenant requirements. May require data to be extracted and input into a system or excel based template where calculations may be performed.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • An understanding of commercial real estate loan documents and borrower compliance
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must be able to work with and communicate across all functional lines of the Company’s organization. Cooperation with other employees is required in achieving Company goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior background with Commercial Real Estate Loan Documents
  • Paralegal Certification preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with database use and concepts
