Job description

What You'll Do:

As our Brand Ambassador/Social Media Manager, you'll serve as a trusted face and voice of Unconventional Education Hub (UEH) in the homeschool world. Your role is to:

  • Plan and execute a weekly content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
  • Create engaging, mission-aligned content (posts, reels, stories, etc.) to grow and activate our community
  • Highlight real homeschoolers and stories, spotlight vendors and creators, and promote marketplace products
  • Drive traffic to UEH forums, blogs, courses, and store
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and build relationships with aligned influencers or communities
  • Track performance metrics and suggest improvements based on reach, engagement, and conversions
  • Collaborate with the UEH team to stay aligned on mission, promotions, and user feedback

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Have 4+ years of homeschooling experience (full-time, hybrid, or pod-style)
  • Are active in parenting or homeschool communities (especially on Facebook or Instagram)
  • Love connecting people to helpful resources and building relationships
  • Are comfortable representing a mission-driven brand with professionalism and heart
  • Understand the challenges new homeschoolers face—and want to help
  • Have a flexible schedule to check in a few times a week online

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.

If you are a person with a disability needing assistance with the application, or at any point in the hiring process, please contact us at support@themomproject.com.

Screening Questions

  • Tell us about your homeschooling journey. What led you to choose this path, and what have you learned from the experience?
  • How do you currently engage with other homeschool or parent communities (online or in person)?
  • Imagine you’re introducing UEH to a parent who’s skeptical about using an online platform. What would you say?
  • What motivates you to be part of a parent-led educational platform like UEH?
