Our Customer was founded in 1982 in an effort to create a solid accounting firm headed by native professionals. They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.

We are seeking a Brand Strategist on a contract basis to provide strategic direction for the company’s businesses and industries related to marketing. This role will be at the forefront of informing how the company goes to market, inspiring creativity, and driving success for one of the world’s most influential brands. This role is 100% remote.

What You’ll Do:

  • Architect strategies that uniquely position and differentiate the company’s businesses, industries, and ultimately the brand
  • Leverage marketing intelligence derived from competitive landscaping, client feedback, content mapping, and audience research to unearth insights to connect with audiences and drive results
  • Provide strategic direction to inspire creative solutions that deliver on business objectives
  • Connect the dots across marketing activity strategically
  • Become trusted strategic advisors so that stakeholders actively turn to the company as they forge their own path and that of their business forward
  • Bring specialist knowledge and a new perspective to the Marketing Excellence community demonstrating an ability to distill marketing intelligence into distinctive strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally within the company's team to ensure the company develops and delivers effective campaigns that have an impact on the brand and business
  • Work closely with the head of strategy to help bring in new opportunities, while making sure the center of excellence (CoE) can deliver (for both existing stakeholders and new ones) from a strategic perspective
  • Mentor other strategists on the team
  • Enable and empower team members
  • Embody an effective mindset, always keen (and able to, alongside others) demonstrate the impact
  • Play a crucial role in making the strategy CoE much more than the sum of its parts
  • Work together to break down silos

Must Haves:

  • Minimum of 10+ years relevant experience on behalf of a brand; agency experience a plus
  • Strong organization and ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills and the ability to inspire others
  • Highly self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, and work well within a team, both in-person and virtually
  • Persuasive communicator and presenter
  • Ability to influence at the C-Suite level
  • Strong track record of managing and developing teams – both onshore and offshore

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
