Job description

Objective: Maintain primary responsibility for onboarding, analysis, reporting, administration, and Investor Reporting for existing loans within an actively growing assigned portfolio. This position will report to the Vice President, Portfolio Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend and provide input during pre-closing calls
  • Review of Loan Agreement and other important documentation for monitoring and loan administration guidance
  • Review and approve Loan Input Sheet
  • Complete onboarding of new loans including:
    • Initial Set up of financial spread template and covenant tracking
    • Complete and distribute a custom Welcome Package for each new borrower followed up by a Welcome Call
    • Request financial reporting, ensuring that the reporting from borrower is complete and timely
      • Update internal tracking
  • Process and review monthly financial statements
  • Follow up and ensure completion of all post-closing requirements
  • Review and approve capex, replacement reserve/repairs requests on bridge loans
  • Administer cash flow collections and disbursements for Borrowers under Cash Management
  • Set up and maintain quarterly investor reporting for each borrower in assigned portfolio
  • Review and approve monthly remittance to investors
  • Support Senior Management on quarterly Investor calls
  • Review borrower budgets
  • Retrieve and review Health Survey Information as applicable
  • Request and review annual insurance certificates and process annual reimbursement of premiums
  • Approve tax payment disbursements
  • Oversee adjustments to escrow payments based on periodic analysis
  • With the assistance of General Counsel, ensure any modifications, extensions, waivers, etc. to existing loans are completed on a timely basis
  • Provide extension and amendment documentation to Trustees and Custodian as applicable
  • Provide support to the XCC HUD Underwriting Team to allow for a smooth transition through the HUD application and closing process
  • Respond to daily inquiries from borrowers by either completing their request or delegating to the appropriate XCC Team Member
  • Travel as needed

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Three or more years of lending, credit analysis, portfolio management and/or loan review experience in banking or commercial finance preferred
  • Must be proficient in basic software applications included in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong customer communication/service skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to think pro-actively and work independently
Salary range: $70,000-$90,000 base annual salary
