We are looking for a Business Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day activities related to internal controls within the organization’s system of quality control for Third-Party Compliance (TPC).
  • Interpret and apply Risk Management Manual (RMM) requirements related to evaluating third parties participating in direct client engagements and internal initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline current processes through improved analytics, automation, and data efficiencies.
  • Contribute to stakeholder communications to support effective data gathering and execution of TPC procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Finance & Accounting, Risk Management Policy, and TPC preventative teams—to support operational alignment.
  • Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and accountability while contributing to a respectful and collaborative work environment.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in ERP
  • Prior experience with compliance, internal controls, audit, or similar financial governance functions.
  • Big Four or large professional services firm experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts and deliver results with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience reviewing, reconciling, and performing complex calculations involving large financial datasets from multiple source systems.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, data analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with Alteryx Designer for data preparation, blending, and analytics.
  • Solid understanding of audit requirements, internal control frameworks, and risk-based audit approaches.
  • Ability to apply a risk-based methodology to transaction review and categorization.
  • Familiarity with federal and commercial cost accounting practices.
  • Ability to clearly document analysis and maintain complete, auditable workpapers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for conducting inquiries and presenting findings.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders effectively, using data-driven insights to support discussions and resolve issues.
