They are currently seeking a Maternity Leave coverage Business Analyst.


There is a potential for this temporary position to be hired as full-time at the end of the term.


Hybrid schedule is Tuesday-Thursday in-office, and Monday & Friday remote

The Business Analyst ideal candidate possesses the fundamentals of analytical, strategic and project management skills. They need to have strong initiative, communication, and organizational skills to manage multiple project timelines as the role is partnered with many vendor partners and bsg team members. They should be committed to being an energetic and positive contributor to the company’s vision and goals, driven, an initiator, and overall support to the Business Units they will partner with. This role requires initiative, strong communication, and the ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.


Will:

• Support needs of business units

• Run weekly and ad hoc and promotional sales reporting with summary to send to Account Manager

• Run preliminary Inventory management flow grids of domestic and import programs and provide preliminary suggestions to Account Manager

• Promotional planning – manage promotion calendar and spend for manufacturer with Account Manager guidance

• Coordinate new item set up, sampling and imaging process with Account Manager • Support Comp shop and competitive analysis

• Manage Vendor Report Card, Chargebacks and Audits for Manufacturer

• Support management of Time and Action for Account Manager portfolio

• Support Competitive retail research and trend analysis

• Coordinate samples requests, delivery and full sample process

• Support special project needs; engage in coordinating timelines and needs from goals of project • Act as a liaison between our partners and Target ensuring first class communication • Other special ad hoc projects as required to support division needs


Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-3 years retail business analytics experience

• Understanding of Target systems including POL, PCN & Greenfield

• Strategic thinking and problem solving

• Customer Service and relationship building

• High Energy, Driven, Positive Attitude

• Moderate Excel and Power Point Skills

• Ability to multi task across multiple lines and daily tasks

• Ability to work in a high paced environment that is ever changing

• Strong decision making skills
