Job description

We are seeking a Business Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote and candidates must sit in PST zone.

This role will provide program management support to develop an Asana instance from scratch to centralize all program management across the Finance Digital Transformation & Governance (FDTG) team. This will include baselining the current state across multiple FDTG teams, each with disparate ways of working and using this information to design and implement the future state for consistent project delivery in Asana.

We are looking for a resource with strong data governance, database management, reporting and testing background in Asana. This role requires strong project management skills to engage multiple stakeholders in parallel, manage complex requirements and align priorities for phased release. The ideal candidate is curious and proactive, constantly looking to develop new and better ways of operating leveraging technology.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive engagement with stakeholder groups (Process Architect Team, Tech Teams, Senior Leadership, Etc..) to gather and prioritize system requirements.
  • Develop and manage a program plan with clear deliverables and timelines for prioritized scope.
  • Develop project management workflows and integrations in Asana to meet prioritized requirements, iteratively testing these solutions with the stakeholder groups.
  • Develop native reporting capabilities in Asana and BI tools (Qlik, SQL) from FDTG core project datasets to inform teams of project and backlog status in near real-time.
  • Develop FDTG PMO process governance, communication, and change management documentation from scratch.
  • Ensure statusing of all efforts under your purview, regularly reporting progress to all stakeholders and driving timely project completion.
  • Engage with senior management to provide regular updates on status and gather feedback/ inputs key to keeping the project on track to delivering against their expectations.
  • Monitor ongoing engagement post launch with teams and continuously prioritize enahcements.



Qualifications:

  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of Project Management experience
  • At least five years of managing large programs to deliver on strict timelines
  • Extensive experience configuring and managing Asana instances, Ideally setting up from scratch. .
  • Experience supporting finance and technology teams and projects
  • Deep knowledge of BI Tools, GSheet, and Asana functionality (developing dashboards, updating data, creating formulas, generating reports, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication, change management, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Deep Data experience with BI Tools, GSheets, Asana, creating dashboards, and various other tools to support project management
  • Program Management focused on treating all assigned initiatives with urgency and able to manage the program, identify and report risks and issues, track all deliverables and dependencies across all contributors
  • Process-oriented with the ability to identify and drive process improvements in service to creating dashboards to understand the scope of work, report daily status, capture release metrics, track issues and risks, and provide timely updates to Management
  • A governance mindset with the ability to document governance materials in a user-friendly way that is easy for stakeholder groups to consume.
  • Experience supporting various projects and priorities in detail simultaneously
  • Flexible to take on new, varied, and parallel projects
  • Ability to work and pivot as needed, with speed, in a complex and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across functional teams to achieve the shared goal; formulate change management plans and act as a catalyst to accelerate outcomes
  • Able to influence people and indirectly manage the project team or teams to ensure the effective execution of initiatives
  • Quickly learns in different domains and ramps up expertise in new areas
