Job description
A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Business Analyst to help support their business needs.
Responsibilities:
Website & Customer Support
- Provide second-level support for the eBusiness and aftermarket support centers.
- Review refund requests, government purchase forms, and handle customer concerns.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries through the mailbox.
- Manage issues with the website:
- Create IT help tickets and drive them to resolution.
- Post maintenance announcements for customers.
- Notify the National Automotive Task Force of maintenance windows and issues.
- Perform export screening reviews.
Reporting & Enhancements
- Maintain monthly sales reporting dashboards for management.
- Manage IT enhancement projects, including creating user test cases in TFS, executing UAT, and participating in deployment calls.
- Maintain and prioritize the website enhancement log.
- Monitor Kibana for abuse activity.
Training & Materials
- Develop and maintain user support materials for field teams and end users.
- Create and maintain sales support materials for field teams.
- Maintain and manage training course material required for EPA and CARB compliance.
- Update and present “What is TDS?” materials as website changes occur.
Access & Governance
- Manage special access requests, including billing for service licensees, niche schools, partners, media, software licensees, and government agencies (e.g., CARB).
- Maintain monthly aftermarket governance meetings (scheduling, agenda, records, and issue tracking).
- Report key information to the field during monthly FMA calls.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Support internal global stakeholders (Europe, South Korea, Canada, Australia, Japan).
- Participate in NASTF teams (Service Information, Technology, Security).
- Maintain frequent contact with external industry stakeholders.
- Handle non-recurring special assignments as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience (open to candidates with at least 1 year).
- Automotive aftermarket experience.
- Prior dealership experience (not required to be current).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while engaging with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated openness to learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket service and parts industry.
- Familiarity with governance or compliance (EPA, CARB).
- Experience supporting IT enhancement projects or website operations.
Hours and Location:
- Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week.
- This role is hybrid (remote Mondays and Fridays, and onsite Tuesdays through Thursdays)
