We are seeking a Retail Onboarding Business Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Retail Onboarding Business Analyst supports retail partner launches by executing onboarding processes and ensuring operational readiness. This role involves activating and empowering stores through bulk tools, auditing catalogs, tracking early performance metrics, and resolving launch roadblocks. The analyst collaborates cross-functionally to improve the quality of launches, refine onboarding processes, and contribute to scalable retail growth.

Responsibilities:
- Execute the partner launch process to onboard 10+ retail partners successfully.
- Run bulk tools to activate and empower stores.
- Refresh and audit catalogs and stores to ensure accuracy.
- Track and report on early performance metrics for new partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve launch roadblocks.
- Work with retail teams on quality, shopping experience, and merchandising improvements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose refinements to partner launch workflows.
- Share insights from onboarding execution to inform broader retail strategies.
Candidates with experience at these companies or similar marketplaces are preferred: Uber Eats, Grubhub, Instacart, Postmates, Amazon (Marketplace/Amazon Fresh), Walmart Marketplace, Shipt, Caviar, Waitr, GoPuff.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior work experience in operations, account management, or project coordination (retail, e-commerce, or marketplace experience).
- Background in retail catalog management, including catalog fields, item setup, and product data accuracy.
- Familiarity with bulk tools or backend systems for activating and maintaining retail partners.
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), with the ability to manage large spreadsheets and track workflows.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple partner launches simultaneously.
- Demonstrated initiative, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with or openness to AI tools or lightweight scripts for task automation or insights generation.
