Job description

We are seeking a Business Continuity Planning Analyst on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with critical business teams.
- Partner with business stakeholders to conduct risk-based functional business impact analyses and prioritize the development of continuity plans for critical activities.
- Map systems and business process integrations supporting technology products and services, including assessing the resilience of outsourced providers or other critical entities.
- Facilitate the development and execution of continuity exercises for business teams.
- Coordinate business continuity and application recovery gap analyses and remediation initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on periodic training and awareness programs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert during crisis activations that impact the delivery of technology products and services to end users.
- Support third-party and outsourced business continuity risk management initiatives as needed.
- Complete resiliency tasks as assigned by management.
- Develop, maintain, and document procedures and workflows related to business continuity practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity planning.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, consulting, or a similar environment.
- 5+ years of experience coordinating projects with cross-functional partners.
- Business Continuity certification (DRI, BCI) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity concepts, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience communicating effectively with diverse audiences.
- Experience using collaborative tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Wiki.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with analytical thinking and business acumen.
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to document workflows and processes accurately.
