About Us
We are a values-based, Great Place to Work-Certified company providing on-site concierge services as an employee benefit and patient amenity to healthcare systems and large employers across the United States. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Role Summary
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to lead new business development for our offering. You’ll re-engage a warm contact base, book meetings, and close annual subscription contracts with HR executives, benefits leaders, and brokers across corporate, professional services, law firm, and SMB markets.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to work directly with our CEO, help shape the go-to-market strategy, and build a book of business in a category that’s ready for growth. You’re not sitting behind a desk; you’re out in the market every day.
What You'll Do
Business Development & Pipeline Management
- Re-engage existing warm contact base and build a pipeline of qualified prospects including HR executives, benefits leaders, brokers, and decision-makers at corporations, law firms, professional services firms, and SMBs.
- Get in front of people with coffee meetings, prospect lunches, cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and showing up where your buyers are. This is not a desk job.
- Lead consultative scoping conversations to right-size the subscription tier for each prospect and build a compelling business case.
- Own the full sales cycle: outreach, deck, proposal, close and log every activity in HubSpot in real time.
Market Development
- Work directly with the CEO to refine our Virtual Concierge go-to-market strategy; represent at industry events and conferences.
- Use modern tools including AI (Claude) and HubSpot to work efficiently and punch above your weight.
- Drive adoption and utilization with new clients post-close you’re selling annual contracts that auto-renew; a client who underutilizes the program is a churn risk.
What success looks like in year one
- A full pipeline consistently moving through the funnel.
- First contracts signed and revenue on the board.
- HubSpot reflects real, current activity — no black holes, no stale deals.
- A clear read on which segments and buyer profiles convert best — and a sharpened strategy to match.
This Role Is Right For You If
- You’re energized by commission tied to your output
- Coffee meetings, prospect lunches, and industry events are how you naturally operate, not something you have to be pushed to do.
- You have executive presence and are credible in rooms with senior HR and benefits leaders and comfortable cold calling them the day before.
- You’re disciplined: your pipeline, calendar, and follow-ups stay current without being reminded.
- You want to build something, not just fill a role.
Required
- Outbound sales experience, comfortable cold calling, managing a pipeline, and owning a number.
- Strong written and verbal communication, your outreach gets responses and your decks are client-ready.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- HubSpot or comparable CRM, every call, meeting, and deal stage logged in real time.
- Based in Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA other major Texas and Georgia markets considered.
Preferred
- Experience selling SaaS, subscription-based, or recurring-revenue products, you understand annual contracts and what it takes to keep clients renewing.
- Familiarity with the HR or benefits buyer or a demonstrated ability to learn a new industry quickly.
- Experience in employee benefits, corporate wellness, or a related field.
- Active LinkedIn presence used as a real sales and prospecting tool.
Logistics
- Field-based, Atlanta, GA. In-person client meetings and travel required; this is not a work-from-home position.
- Background check required.
Growth & Opportunity
Strong performers in this role have a clear path to a senior Business Development or Director-level role as our business grows. You’ll work directly with the CEO from day one and have genuine influence over the product and go-to-market strategy, not just the execution of it.
