Job description

By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies.


We are seeking a Business Development Representative on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify high-potential eCommerce and retail businesses through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers and engage decision-makers
  • Qualify leads by understanding shipping challenges, business needs, and decision criteria
  • Set meetings and product demos for Account Executives
  • Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline in the CRM system
  • Track and manage outreach activities, lead status, and follow-ups accurately
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and target segments
  • Support outbound email and phone campaigns to drive lead generation and pipeline growth


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development
  • Proven track record of consistent, measurable over-achievement
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email, and professional networking platforms
  • High level of ownership, resilience, and persistence
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about logistics, shipping, and related industries
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
  • Desire to build a long-term career in sales

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within the logistics or supply chain industry
