Job description
Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the People Analytics Operations & Infrastructure team by helping operationalize a new data visualization platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency of HR data, and enabling stakeholders to effectively leverage reporting and analytics tools. This role plays a key part in scaling People Analytics capabilities by validating data, documenting metric logic, and supporting end users across the organization.
This position is ideal for someone who excels at creating clarity from complex datasets, prioritizes data quality and usability, and enjoys supporting others in extracting business value from analytics platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Support the setup and launch of the new People Analytics visualization platform
- Validate data, dashboards, and metric logic to ensure accuracy and alignment across sources
- Partner with BI Engineers to test and refine reporting-ready datasets
- Manage stakeholder questions about platform usage, data interpretation, and reporting functionality
- Ensure the platform meets stakeholder needs through feedback collection and iteration
- Identify and troubleshoot data quality or logic issues that impact reporting
- Document metric definitions, logic, and dashboard guidance for users
- Support user onboarding, training sessions, and demo walkthroughs
- Uphold People Analytics standards for data quality, consistency, and trust
Skills and Qualifications:
- BS/BA or equivalent
- Experience in Business Intelligence, People Analytics, or HR Data roles
- Proficiency in SQL and dashboarding tools such as Looker, Databricks, OneModel, or Visier
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate data across systems
- Comfort supporting business users and explaining analytical concepts in plain language
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
