The company’s brands focus on all stages of the home lifecycle: renting, buying, selling, financing and home improvement. They are committed to empowering consumers with unparalleled data, inspiration and knowledge around homes, and connecting them with the right local professionals to help.

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This role is instrumental in building a best-in-class business intelligence environment that fosters a customer-centric approach for HR stakeholders and business leaders. This role integrates innovative solutions and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making across the People Org and the broader business. The Analyst analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards with forward-thinking visualizations that simplify complex data for actionable use
  • Continuously innovate and align dashboard design with best practices in data visualization to enhance usability and engagement
  • Work with Databricks and other data platforms to extract, transform, and integrate diverse datasets (e.g., recruiting, job profiles, working arrangements) in dashboards, analyses, and reporting
  • Partner with team members and/or EDW team to onboard new data sources and maintain alignment with evolving data architecture standards
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and available data elements
  • Produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools
  • Collaborate with the team to continuously enhance tools and databases, ensuring they remain optimized for stakeholder needs
  • Streamline workflows by updating report fields, creating new views, and archiving outdated or irrelevant components
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage deliverables for key projects while ensuring clear communication and alignment with stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing strategic, data-driven recommendations
  • Document requirements, timelines, and progress to ensure project success and capture learnings
  • Provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets that inform leadership decisions around workforce data and internal team-related tools
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate data into compelling narratives that drive strategic conversations and outcomes
  • Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic or tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge
  • Build and maintain self-service dashboards in Tableau covering the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, internal movement, experience, and attrition
  • Handle cyclical reporting and ad-hoc analysis, creating data stories, presentations, and insights tailored to different business units

Role: The job is to design and maintain HR-focused dashboards, analyze employee lifecycle data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for People Analytics and business stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Tableau or similar tools such as Looker
  • Ability to build and maintain dashboards and translate HR/employee data into actionable insights
  • Experience in business intelligence, data storytelling, and building presentation decks
  • Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write and understand queries for transforming raw data into usable formats
  • Experience working with people data, such as HR or employee lifecycle
  • Familiarity with large, complex, high-volume datasets, particularly in larger company settings
  • Experience in healthcare (privacy/HIPAA) or tech/data-heavy environments preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively solve problems
  • Resourceful and able to find answers using available tools without constant guidance
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate complex data challenges
