Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst on a contract basis to help with the operational and technical needs of the finance franchise within Enterprise Analytics. This role is 100% remote. The candidate should overlap Pacific time zone-PST for team meetings and communication.

What You’ll do:

  • Understand business/functional requirements and convert them into technical requirements/data models
  • Deliver BI Data models and Analytic solutions using Snowflake, and other Business Intelligence tools
  • Work with teams to deliver effective, high-value reporting solutions by leveraging an established delivery methodology
  • Engage with clients in requirement gathering, status updates on work, UAT, and be the key partner in the overall engagement
  • Assist in the documentation of best practices
  • Build and support a collaborative relationship with internal matrix partners

Must Haves:

  • At least 4 years of BI reporting/engineering experience handling report development projects
  • Deep knowledge of Enterprise design, data analysis, and business intelligence tools
  • Well-versed in requirements gathering, business stakeholder alignment, execution of operational tasks, data engineering tasks, and Tableau development
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and ask clarifying questions
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and provide a structured analytical effort to ongoing/new projects
  • Ability to understand business requirements, convert it into technical solutions, perform documentation, and ensure deliverables with 100% accuracy
  • Experience in using Snowflake
  • Proficiency in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with strong experience in design, analysis and development stages
  • Experience with SAP Finance is preferred
  • Ability to work directly with the technical team to solve any issues and keep all deliverables and timelines on track
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work on time and with minimal supervision

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Hours & Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
