Job description

Part-Time Business Manager (Finance, HR & Operations)

Location: Remote- Client is based outside of Louisville, KY

Hours: Part-Time (Flexible, 20 hours/week).

Pay: $28-$36/hour

Our client, a leader in regenerative agriculture, is seeking a high-performing Business Operations Manager to optimize financial, HR, and operational systems. They need an efficiency-driven professional to modernize workflows, integrate Shopify with QuickBooks, streamline bill pay, leases, and payroll, and enhance banking processes for greater efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Banking Efficiencies

  1. Manage QuickBooks Online with accuracy in bookkeeping, bill pay, and reporting
  2. Integrate Shopify with QuickBooks for seamless e-commerce tracking
  3. Oversee leases and ensure timely tenant payments
  4. Work directly with bank to improve efficiencies (e.g., ACH transfers, reducing check reliance, streamlining bill pay)
  5. Implement automated and digital payment processes for improved cash flow and accuracy

HR & Payroll

  1. Process payroll and manage benefits administration
  2. Maintain HR records and support compliance needs

Operational Efficiency & Systems Improvement

  1. Identify outdated systems and implement plug-and-play solutions for automation and accuracy
  2. Create scalable workflows for finance, HR, and lease management
  3. Improve reporting and documentation for easy access and decision-making

Qualifications:

Finance & Tech-Savvy – Strong QuickBooks experience, Shopify integration, and digital banking knowledge

Process-Driven & Detail-Oriented – Ensures accuracy, meets deadlines, and streamlines operations

Problem Solver – Thrives on fixing inefficiencies and modernizing financial processes
