Job description

We are seeking a Business Resilience Strategist on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic resilience initiatives by assisting in cross-disciplinary projects that enhance resilience, including crisis management, business continuity, and employee well-being.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of corporate-level crisis management programs and integrate them with other resilience disciplines.
  • Manage projects related to business resilience program strategy, governance, response structures, and training for senior executives.
  • Collaborate with function-level teams (HR, Legal, etc.) and product-level teams to support crisis planning and execution.
  • Launch global initiatives that incorporate lessons learned from exercises and real-world crises into program enhancements.
  • Assist in developing and deploying tools to support crisis management plans and capabilities.
  • Review work products across domains, ensuring quality and providing feedback.
  • Provide advisory support to stakeholders, offering guidance on problem-solving approaches.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of work experience
  • 5–6+ years of experience in crisis management, enterprise risk management, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments; management consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with senior-level internal and external executives.
  • Exposure to developing or launching company-wide programs, ideally at Fortune 50 scale.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and chat-based AI tools for daily work.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Experience supporting global programs.
  • Background in business transformation or change management a plus.
  • Experience reporting to senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and strong sense of ownership.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally.
  • High degree of professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the resilience field.
  • Commitment to organizational values and mission.
