Job description

Our Customer is an American multinational beverage corporation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. We are looking for a contract Oracle Transportation Management Business Support to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (onsite 3 days a week) in Atlanta, GA.

NOTE: Candidates must have their own laptops, the customer is not providing laptops to contractors at this time

Responsibilities:
  • 75% - Support OTM Business Users:
    • Triage day to day system issues and provide resolution for complex systems issues
    • Resolve OTM related issues and identify root cause for problems to support transportation users
    • Engage OTM IT Support as required and act as a liaison between business and IT
    • Monitor key systems, batch jobs and interfaces between OTM and other systems
    • Resolve any OTM EDI related issues to support internal teams as well as carriers
  • 25% - Update OTM Support Documentation and Provide User Training:
    • Update the current OTM training documentation, OTM support documentation, and update tracking logs of support issues.
    • Support OTM users by conducting training sessions on an as-needed basis and ensure the OTM business users are following the outlined SOPs
  • Support OTM business users, such as transportation planners, procurement, carriers, settlement, logistics leadership, and others, in their day to day OTM issues resolution with a comprehensive knowledge of functional areas of OTM.
  • Need ability to solve complex issues and troubleshoot within order management, shipment planning, bulk planning, invoicing and other areas of OTM.
  • Liaise with business and IT to resolve system issues and be the primary point of contact for OTM functional and system issues. Suggest key process and performance improvement opportunities within OTM identified during the course of support.
  • Support OTM users by conducting training sessions and maintaining job aids and transportation/OTM documentation.

Required Experience and Skills
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years of functional experience configuring, maintaining and supporting OTM
  • Troubleshooting experience related to order issues, shipment planning issues, bulk planning issues, rating issues, master data issues etc.
  • Working knowledge of OTM modules such as order management, rates, shipment management, equipment, invoice and voucher creation, etc.
  • Ability to suggest/make OTM configuration changes to support business users
  • Ability to travel (0-10% required)
