Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA, or Peachtree Corners, GA.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide best practice advisory services to functional and technical teams throughout solution implementation and ongoing sustainment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Support solution design activities and review business process and system-level changes as part of continual service improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings with process owners and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Develop supporting materials, including sample dashboards, user journey maps, and process documentation.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications for development teams.
  • Collaborate with development teams to refine and validate documented requirements.
  • Develop procedures, manuals, training materials, and system documentation.
  • Partner with onsite and offshore developers to provide business process insight and functional design support.
  • Support production operations and maintain the stability of implemented solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and address operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage and prioritize ITSM tickets and communicate ticket status and resolution timelines to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and system enhancements.
  • Provide end-user training and support for Smartsheet applications and related business solutions.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel formulas and functions.
  • Strong experience using Smartsheet applications and capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support cross-functional end users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Lucidchart and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Experience building solutions using Smartsheet Premium Apps, including Data Shuttle, Dynamic View, DataMesh, Pivot, Calendar, and WorkApps.
  • Experience with advanced Smartsheet capabilities, including automations, cross-sheet references, DataTable, Document Builder, and workload tracking.
  • Technical understanding of Smartsheet Control Center solutions and blueprint configuration.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical and functional documentation.
  • Experience supporting production systems and ITSM processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Smartsheet certifications, including Core Product, Project Management, System Administrator, Control Center Lead, or Control Center Blueprint Builder.
  • Experience building workflows using Smartsheet connectors such as Salesforce and Jira.
  • Experience working with Smartsheet API and Bridge workflows.
