Job description
Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.
We are seeking an Email Campaign Marketing Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is remote in any of the following locations: Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL, Bentonville, AR, Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, Cincinnati - West Chester, OH, Costa Mesa, CA, Salt Lake City, UT, NYC, Stamford, CT, and Champaign, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end campaign execution within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) for B2B clients.
- Build, test, and deploy static and automated campaigns using SFMC tools, including Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder.
- Execute email, direct mail, SMS, mobile push, and wallet campaigns.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and in compliance with QA and operational standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and client requirements into SFMC workflows and campaign executions.
- Maintain campaign documentation and execution records within campaign management systems.
- Perform quality assurance and compliance checks prior to campaign deployment.
- Partner with data teams and creative agencies to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery.
- Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, personalization, and process improvement.
- Leverage data insights and AI-driven approaches to optimize campaign performance.
- Manage campaign timelines, workflows, and project priorities across multiple initiatives.
- Support analytical problem-solving and contribute to campaign performance optimization initiatives.
- Perform additional campaign operations and special project tasks as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in direct marketing channels, including email, direct mail, SMS, mobile push, or wallet campaigns.
- 3+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is preferred, along with any HTML or email build work experience.
- Experience in B2B campaign operations or marketing automation.
- Experience with Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Journey Builder.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong business communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience solving business problems using data and automation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, workflows, and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with campaign management systems and documentation processes.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Strong troubleshooting and execution management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to marketing and retail concepts.
- Experience working with marketing databases and digital marketing platforms.
- Experience using project management tools such as Workfront, MRM, Jira, ProofHub, or similar platforms.
- Experience leveraging AI-driven insights, automation, or personalization within campaign operations
