About the Role:

We are searching for a passionate people person that is driven to see Moms, Dads and Allies succeed in the workforce, as part of our new Talent Readiness team. In this exciting role you will prepare Activate talent at The Mom Project to successfully complete client interviews by reviewing talent resumes, and providing tips and tricks for success. You will meet with talent for 1:1 coaching sessions where you will educate them on the Activate client and role expectations, give them interview best practice guidance, and build their confidence. Your goal will be to leave the talent feeling excited and prepared to win the role, and support them through the role acceptance process.

What you’ll do:

  • Have a deep understanding of Activate client culture, hiring practices/processes, and the type of skills they are looking for in each open role
  • Review Activate talent resumes and cover letters, providing tips and tricks on formatting, grammar, content, and style
  • Educate talent on Activate client and role details, and prepare talent to ace their interview
  • Support talent with questions and advice, as needed, pre-interview
  • Support your team with outstanding documentation, and give and seek ongoing feedback
  • Ensure moms, dads, and allies have delightful experiences, where you become their trusted advisor
  • Keep the talent engaged through the interview process
  • Follow up after the interview to ask how it went, asking for feedback on the process, and the talent’s feeling of preparedness
  • Present Activate candidate offer, and support candidate through offer acceptance
  • Partner with onboarding team

The skills and abilities you’ll need to succeed:

  • 2+ years of experience working at a staffing agency or talent marketplace supporting talent interview preparedness
  • 2+ years of resume and cover letter review, formatting, and submission
  • 3+ years of talent facing customer service experience
  • Staffing or HR background preferred
  • Ability to connect with people, and determine what they need to be successful in winning a role
  • Ability to provide coaching to talent that is tailored to their needs and the open role.
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Have a people first focus for your team, and for moms, dads, and allies

Pay Transparency: The pay range for this position is $60,000-$66,000. In addition, we offer bonus, benefits and a very generous equity package. This pay range may be adjusted for certain geographies, based on local labor costs. If you are hired at The Mom Project, your final base salary will be based on factors such as geographic location, skills, and depth of experience.
