Title: Fractional CFO
Location: Dallas, TX | Hybrid Schedule
Hours per Week: Will vary based on acquisition needs flowing between 10 - 40 hrs/wk (top end is infrequent)
Hourly Rate: $55 - $110/hr, commensurate with experience
Ideal Candidate: CPA with M&A and Operational experience

Our client is a private investor with a holding company acquiring private companies in the environmental engineering and remediation services industry. He is seeking a CPA, ideally with M&A and operational experience to join his team.

The ideal candidate is observant, kind, and willing to (this may be the most important part) share thoughts and opinions. Most people associated with this team have been working together for many years, and someone looking to be part of a long-term team and have a meaningful impact is preferred.

This role will ebb and flow based on acquisition activity but will be 10 - 40 hrs/wk with most weeks averaging ~ 20.

Responsibilities include:

• Target acquisition due diligence
• Value Creation Plan monitoring
• Financial statement production (Monthly, Quarterly and Annually)
• P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statements
• Manage financial operations
• Provide financial insight and make strategic financial decisions
• Implement financial processes and systems
• Effectively communicate financial information to private investor and acquired companies
• M&A and multi-state accounting
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• KPI monitoring
• Monthly Cash Flow forecasting
• Post-acquisition integration

• CPA
• Private company marketplace experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience as a VP of Finance, Accounting Manager or CFO
• Basic knowledge of current operating systems
