About the Role:
We are looking for a Change Management Consultant on a part-time contract basis. The Change Manager is accountable to create, develop, and deliver the change management strategy for simple to moderately complex projects, and is responsible for the execution of change management deliverables throughout all project phases. This position has the authority to make independent decisions on resource deployment and work activity. The individual in this position has also is responsible for change management coaching and mentorship for business partners. The Change Manager position is performed to significantly enhance overall organizational performance. This role is 100% remote, 20 hours a week. The hours are flexible but you must be available for client meetings.

Must-Haves:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in technology implementation
  • Experience in Workday implementations a plus!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Visio and Project)
  • Must be able to effectively communicate
  • Must be able to translate plans/policies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables
  • Plans, prepares for, and effectively facilitates team meetings and presentations


What You'll Do:
  • Refine existing role, process, and technology change impacts based on scope of Phase 1
  • Update change management strategy to focus on Leadership Engagement and the Change/Communications Plan
  • Develop Leadership Engagement Plan and develop change management / communications plan (inclusive of leadership engagement plan)
  • Provide strategic guidance on how to execute change management activities
  • Enable and equip client to deliver Leadership alignment and engagement activities by developing a walking deck with accompanying key talking points
  • Provide a playbook with templates for base activities to support client in executing activities outlined in the plan
  • The playbook will include templates for a Leadership Walking deck, FAQs, readiness communications, and “tips & tricks” communications, all geared towards Workday system implementation
  • Advise on the implications of the organizations plans and actions; make recommendations on factors that may impact change adoption and sustainability
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of change management deliverables by acting as the technical change management expert on designated project teams through all project phases; this includes but is not limited to creating the preliminary plan, knowledge transfer, organizational assessments, stakeholder analysis and engagement, communication strategy and plan, change management charter, dashboard and sustainability plan
