We are seeking a Client Service Associate on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (4 days on-site and 1 day remote/week) in NYC or Seattle.


Successful candidates will have experience working in a collaborative work environment for a financial services/RIA/Broker Dealer firm and have a passion for delivering outstanding client service.



Responsibilities:

  • Process new account setups, account maintenance requests, and cash transactions for RIA and Broker-Dealer (BD) clients
  • Provide operational support and data entry for client onboarding and ongoing account servicing
  • Process account changes, withdrawals, and "do not transact" status updates
  • Review and process client paperwork and supporting documentation
  • Monitor reconciliation items, including delinked accounts, negative cash accounts, and new account exceptions
  • Communicate with custodians to resolve service-related matters and obtain required documentation
  • Maintain accurate client records and account information within Salesforce CRM
  • Support internal service requests through shared team email and operational workflows
  • Review account activity to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal procedures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
  • Prioritize multiple administrative and operational tasks while meeting service level expectations
  • Identify operational issues and escalate exceptions when appropriate
  • Support operational excellence initiatives and continuous process improvement efforts


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience processing new account openings, account maintenance, or investment operations transactions
  • Experience supporting Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Broker-Dealer (BD) accounts
  • Experience with operational support, transaction processing, and data entry
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management systems
  • Experience working with custodians and investment account documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume transactional and administrative workloads
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to operational excellence
