Job description

We are seeking a Client Service Associate on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role will specifically focus on servicing the Separately Managed Accounts business. This role is hybrid (4 days on-site and 1 day remote/week) in New York City (preferred) or Seattle.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage new account setup, change requests, and cash processing for RIA and broker-dealer clients
  • Support a variety of client types, including retail investors, institutions, advisors, and broker-dealer platforms
  • Provide high-touch client support via email and other communication channels
  • Respond to portfolio and strategy-related inquiries
  • Review and resolve reconciliation items such as delinked accounts, negative cash balances, and new account issues
  • Coordinate with custodians for service requests and required documentation
  • Maintain and update client information in CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Support the execution of team projects and operational initiatives
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Balance multiple internal and external requests while maintaining a client-focused approach


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in RIA, broker-dealer, or related financial services environments
  • Understanding of separately managed account (SMA) structures
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Client-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
