- Client Support Specialist
- Staff Support for Tax & Accounting Practice
- 18-22 hours per week
- $20+/hour
- The position requires in-office attendance, working approximately 10am-2pm, M-F, during the tax filing season. There is some flexibility in working hours and work during the summer months.
- The office is located on the Meridian Corridor, far northern Marion County.
We are a friendly, growing, professional company providing tax, accounting and
business advisory services searching for a service-oriented person to join our team. The
position will work closely with our Client Support Specialist and other team members to
process data, ensure accurate, timely processing of documents, and assist in maintaining
internal and client files. Routine tasks include a wide range of various computer and
communication activities. It is important to have experience in an office environment
performing as an administrative assistant or similar role. Past work in an accounting, legal
or compliance environment is a plus.
Primary responsibilities of the position include:
- Receive and review of client-provided information for required completeness
- Ensuring confidentiality and safety of sensitive information encountered in data entry and other job processes
- Communication with clients via phone and/or email as needed
- Assist with answering phone calls and responding to inquiries as needed
- Miscellaneous projects including filing, record maintenance, reports, scanning, copying, preparation of mailings and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

- Ability to work in an environment where rapidly changing workloads and priorities are routine, demonstrating strong time management skills
- Competency in the use of PC and other technology, including Microsoft Office products
- General understanding and working knowledge of administrative procedures
- Ability to communicate in a concise, clear and friendly manner with both verbal and written skills

- Ability to work with minimal supervision while fulfilling obligations
