Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Clinical Research & Sales Support Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (3-4 days on-site and 1-2 days remote/week) in Sunnyvale, CA, with approximately 2 weeks of travel per month.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate clinical and market research studies across multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Recruit and engage clinicians for participation in research studies.
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Support on-site execution of clinical studies.
- Track study progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate project blockers.
- Conduct market and clinical research activities.
- Analyze and track research activities and project performance.
- Support data collection, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with pulmonologists, surgeons, physician champions, and hospital IT departments.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a strong customer service experience for clinical stakeholders.
- Partner with local sales teams to support customer engagement initiatives.
- Support business development activities without direct selling responsibilities.
- Manage compliance and administrative documentation, including NDAs, honorarium agreements, and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards.
- Submit and manage expense reports.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Update and maintain CRM systems.
- Track customer and study-related data and ensure accuracy.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4-5 years of professional experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating clinical research or market research studies.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
- Strong administrative and documentation skills.
- Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Collaborative team player.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM platforms.
- Experience managing databases and tracking records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce.
- Experience with HubSpot.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Clinical research support experience.
- Market research experience.
- Familiarity with hospital operations.
- Knowledge of Pulmonology.
- Knowledge of Bronchoscopy.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 60% travel initially, approximately 2 weeks per trip to major metropolitan areas across the U.S.
- Occasional travel to Canada is possible
